Nationalists from the C14 group marched through the center of Kyiv today to the Italian consulate. The nationalists handed over a letter to the consul demanding that Markiv be released.
“He has been a prisoner in Italy for almost a year on suspicion of murdering a separatist local journalist. Plenty of evidence that this is not the case. But Russia is actively buying European justice and media. They want to bring the matter to the Hague in a demonstrative manner. Mark did not kill,” the C14 group said in a statement.
