This was reported by the Ukrainian publication LB.ua, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Debris from the balcony fell onto the sidewalk. As a result of the incident, no passers-by were injured.
Previously, the Kyiv authorities promised to restore the dilapidated estate of artist Alexander Murashko for UAH 4,8 million, and then open a museum, gallery or art school in it.
They plan to repair the roof of the building, dismantle balconies, wooden beams and partitions, and strengthen door and window openings.
The Murashko estate on Malaya Zhitomirskaya Street is now in a dilapidated state. In 2015, the court returned it to the city after the owner failed to fulfill restoration obligations. The house has the status of a cultural heritage site.
