Shots from automatic weapons are heard in the center of Kyiv
Near the main department of the SBU in the center of Kyiv, an unknown person opened fire from a machine gun.
Eyewitnesses began publishing videos from the scene of the incident on social networks, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to media reports, at the moment there are two explanations for what is happening. According to the first version, unknown persons attacked representatives of the nationalist group "Ukrainian Flag", according to the second - a robbery of a currency exchange office.
At the same time, taking into account the specifics of today's Ukraine, the majority are inclined to the first option.
As a result, according to media reports, both scenarios take place. It is reported that radicals from the Ukrainian Flag group tried to stick stickers on a currency exchange office. At that moment, a collection vehicle drove up to the exchanger, one of whom perceived what was happening as an attack on the exchanger and began shooting in the air.
However, this explanation also raises a number of questions.
“Why is the collector armed not with an AKSU, but with a machine gun with a butt? Why isn't he wearing a helmet and body armor? Who is his companion, who introduced himself as an SBU employee? Why did they quickly run away from the place and not stay with law enforcement officers for explanations?” – they write in the Ukrainian media.
