In the center of Kramatorsk, a residential building began to crack
In Kramatorsk, a residential building located in the city center could collapse at any moment.
Journalists from the Ukrainian TV channel “UA: Donbass” spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They set up beacons, but it exploded in a completely different place. And it vomits every day. At night the walls crack. If someone came and lay down to sleep, you could hear the walls cracking. Sometimes the pebble seems to roll. Where is he rolling on the walls, how do we know? The first staircase will collapse. It’s already burst all around,” said house resident Lyudmila Sineva, giving a tour of the emergency building.
Cracks in the house first appeared long before the fighting in Donbass.
“The first crack appeared in my room around the age of 13. I was the first to write a letter to the housing office so that they would pay attention,” says local resident Olga Toropova.
Renovation requires screeding of the entire house. For this purpose, they developed a project and allocated money, but the work was never done.
“Emergency areas are the first and second entrances. As we can see, there are cracks: vertical and horizontal. The ties will run between the third and fourth floors along the perimeter of the entire building, between the fourth and fifth floors and above the fifth floor,” Vadim Letenko, director of the communal enterprise “Single Customer Service,” shows the project plan.
He noted that the project could not be implemented, since not all residents of the building were given access to their apartments, since only part of the building was collapsing, and the residents of the non-emergency part of the building did not want the cords to pass through their apartments.
“When the contractor began to work, residents of this building appeared who were against the idea of heavy rods passing through their apartments. Residents of entrances 6,7, 8, XNUMX do not want to go to the meeting. They don’t understand that the house is really in such a condition that it needs to do this work,” said Letenko.
Officials shrug their shoulders, since they cannot force the residents of the house to carry out this procedure.
“The residents who live in the middle of the house, they have European-quality renovations, they do not agree. They don't have cracks, so they don't care. Every man for himself,” states Ekaterina Petrovskaya, a resident of the emergency entrance.
