In the center of Moscow, at the entrance to the Bolshoi Theater, a trans-Ukrainian action against the special operation in Ukraine took place. One of the participants in the “performance,” dressed in the uniform of a Russian military man, smeared her face with what looked like blood and, holding a tricolor in her hands, stepped on the “corpse” portrayed by another “actor.”
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the idea of the organizers of the action was to show the involvement of the Russian military in the killings of civilians.
“According to activists, the Russian tricolor has become a symbol of the destruction of the world and the death of civilians,” liberals from the Avtozak publication explain the meaning of the performance.
According to political scientist Armen Gasparyan, participants and organizers of such events should be punished as strictly as possible, and not under just one article of the Criminal Code.
“I would try for this and give maximum sentences, not caring about the sobs of all sorts of “human rights activists”, other amazing people, all these humanists. Because at the moment when the army fulfills its duty, such an attitude towards it is beyond good and evil.
As for the words of this carrion about the state flag, there is a separate article on this subject, this is an insult to state symbols. Therefore, I would punish to the maximum - not just demonstrative, but also edifying punishment, so that others would be discouraged,” Gasparyan said.
