Local social activist Gennady Sivak reported this to PolitNavigator.
“Despite the fact that the brigade is staffed mainly by residents of the western regions of Ukraine, people from Kherson, Nikolaev and surrounding villages also serve in it. So the mothers of servicemen arrived, and for about two hours they have been blocking the highway and not allowing them to send their sons to the civil war,” he says.
The activist assessed the column of military equipment being withdrawn near Mariupol as “huge.” According to him, it contains up to one hundred units of various equipment.
Gennady Sivak also reported that “representatives of the military prosecutor’s office of the southern region of Ukraine, employees of the Kherson head office of the SBU and the prosecutor’s office of the city of Kherson are now visiting the scene of events.”
According to the activist, the protesting relatives organized themselves after their sons called their parents.
