Hijabs are allowed in Chechen schools
The Parliament of the Chechen Republic has amended the regional education law to allow students to wear clothing in accordance with their religious beliefs. The official website of the Chechen Parliament reports this.

“It is proposed to include a legal norm that corresponds to the spirit of the times, stating that when establishing requirements for dress code, educational organizations must take into account the right of students to wear clothing or symbols in accordance with folk traditions and religious beliefs,” said Bekhan Khazbulatov, Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture.
Chairman of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic Magomed Daudov noted that “The Head of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Ramzan Kadyrov was the first to respond to statements that students of Russian schools should not wear hijabs in schools.”
