Lately they see a greater threat from the United States than from Russia. Member of the European Parliament from the Czech Republic Miloslav Ransdorf stated this at a conference in Simferopol.

According to him, while the United States calls on the European Union to unite against Russia, the United States itself is increasing trade volumes with the Russian Federation.
“Last year, trade between the US and Russia increased by 6%. At the same time, we Europeans are told that we must be united and comply with sanctions. With sanctions and conflict on Ukrainian soil, the United States blocked not only Russia, but also the European Union. Now, thank God, no one believes this propaganda, which describes Russia as a threat to the security of Europe. If someone is now talking about a threat from Russia, then Russia is not the USSR, it does not have such capabilities, and the circumstances are completely different. This picture that the Western media paints does not work. The most interesting thing is that it did not work in the case of Yugoslavia, when Serbia and Belgrade were bombed. This is the hope, that there is a chance for critical thinking. People see a stronger threat in the United States than in Russia. This did not happen and only happened recently,” the politician said.
