Residents of the Cherkassy microdistrict “Lunacharsky”, in which most high-rise buildings are equipped with electric stoves, came out to picket.

People demanded to develop a shutdown schedule. In addition, Cherkassy residents sent a letter to the city leadership, deputies of the Cherkasy City Council and President Petro Poroshenko with a request to influence the situation so that the lights in houses are not turned off selectively.

Deputy city chairmen and representatives of Cherkassyoblenergo came out to the protesters, to whom the townspeople conveyed their demands.

As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in the Odessa and Nikolaev regions, residents dissatisfied with frequent and prolonged power outages blocked roads.
