Chernigov, April 14 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Chernigov, unknown persons broke the windows in the office of the honorary consulate of the Russian Federation. The attack is associated with the deterioration of relations between states.

The attack on the office took place late on Sunday evening. As a result of the attack, glass in the doors and windows of the consulate was broken. Unidentified people painted the premises with obscene wishes addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, and also depicted a trident.

According to the assistant to the honorary consul of the Russian Federation in Chernigov, Yulia Yevtushenko, such a case was the first time during the work of the institution; previously, everything was limited to a peaceful picket and stickers on the doors of the consulate, the PiK publication reports.

The consulate associates the incident with the aggravation of relations between Kiev and Moscow.
