In Chernigov they complain that no one comes to them, but they are dissatisfied with trains to Moscow and St. Petersburg: “We don’t need such tourists”

About this Romanova writes in his blog on the channel 112 website.
“To be successful, any city must be open to the world - so that tourists and potential investors from other cities and countries can easily, safely and comfortably reach the city. Ideally, there should be an airport, extensive railway connections and good roads.
Let's take now my native Chernigov. No one is trying to restore the airport, so the runway was dismantled and sold. And now think about what kind of tourist flows we can talk about? “, the people’s deputy complains.
Next, the people's deputy from Chernigov complains that practically no tourists have been coming to the city in the last year.
“And only 3 trains go by rail through Chernigov. And now - pay attention to what these directions are: Moscow - Chernigov, St. Petersburg - Kyiv and Minsk - Odessa. And now think about what kind of tourist flows we can talk about? Where? From Moscow or from St. Petersburg? So we don’t need such tourists yet...” the politician insists.
Anna Romanova states that she has already addressed the Minister of Infrastructure with a parliamentary request that instead of trains to Moscow and St. Petersburg, Chernigov’s transport links with other regional centers of Ukraine should be improved.
