The day before, on September 23, representatives of the regional organization of the Right Sector party held a political action: they blocked traffic on the highway near the Russian-Ukrainian border.
– Blocking traffic is a warning to the authorities. Thus, we support the actions of patriots in the economic and transport blockade of Crimea. It can’t be that some are fighting and others are trading,” Alexey Korzh, head of the regional organization “Right Sector,” commented on the action.
During the hour the road was blocked, a line of trucks formed on the highway. Representatives of the Right Sector allowed cars and passenger buses through.
On one of the trucks, driven by a foreigner, they found a Russian flag, which did not go any further. And the driver was waiting for “political information” regarding the situation in Ukraine.
