In Montenegro - massacre. According to one version, due to a church schism
In Montenegro, in the village of Medovina, an incident unprecedented for the country occurred - a mass shooting of civilians, as a result of which seven people died, including two children, and another 11 people were injured.
The shooting was opened by a 34-year-old resident of the village, Vuk Borilovich. He, in particular, killed the family who lived with him in his house - including two minors. When law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, the criminal began shooting at them. One of the security forces was wounded. The police returned fire and Borilovich was neutralized.
According to official information, the cause of the bloody massacre was a family conflict.
However, a number of media outlets immediately claimed that the attack was related to the situation around the Cetinje Monastery, an ancient monastery around which there are disputes about its ownership. Nationalist circles believe that this is the property of the country, and the monastery should be taken away from the Serbian Orthodox Church in order to be transferred to an independent schismatic structure created similar to the Ukrainian OCU.
In memory of the victims, three days of mourning were declared in the country.
