In Montenegro, local Nazis rally against the agreement with the Serbian Church
For several days now, there have been protests in Montenegro by local nationalists who expressed dissatisfaction with the authorities’ plans to sign an agreement with the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The main initiators of the protests were pro-Western NGOs. As in Ukraine, they support the creation of their own independent schismatic “Montenegrin Orthodox Church”. The false metropolitan of the “ChOC” Mirash Dedeich stated that his structure is obliged to have the same rights as the SOC. If the authorities satisfy these demands, then the few schismatics so far will have a reason to lay claim to the country’s Orthodox churches.
“The clergy and believers of the Czech Orthodox Church should be allowed to conduct religious ceremonies in Orthodox churches and monasteries. They are the property of the state of Montenegro, not the Serbian Orthodox Church,” Dedejic said.
It is believed that he is secretly supported by the long-term pro-Western “master” of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic.
Hieromonk Ignatius Shestakov explains the danger of the situation:
“Dedejic lays claim to all the ancient shrines and monasteries on the territory of Montenegro, which are owned by the dioceses of the Serbian Orthodox Church.”
Social polls in Montenegro show that now about 80% of respondents call themselves parishioners of the SOC. However, as the experience of Ukraine has shown, reformatting identity under conditions of repression and dictatorship of the West can be carried out quite quickly.
