Chernomorneftegaz stole 100 cubic meters of gas condensate per day - Aksenov
Moscow - Simferopol, October 16 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - “We farmed out powerful state-owned enterprises that could become budget-generating to private structures. Chernomorneftegaz, for example. We uncovered a secondary circuit there. One hundred cubic meters of gas condensate was stolen per day. They were taken to recycling. And it was quite difficult to break this situation.” This statement was made by Crimean Prime Minister Sergei Aksenov at the “Business Breakfast” at the Moscow editorial office of Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

When asked by a journalist how many years it would take for Crimea to go from being a subsidized region to becoming a donor region, Aksenov replied: “In three to five years we will build the situation.”
“For now, they plan to allocate 2015 billion rubles from the federal budget for 82,” he clarified. “Now we are collecting those sources that no one has ever paid attention to.”
One of these sources, according to him, is Chernomorneftegaz. “The enterprise has not been modernized at all for 30 years, and it is a monopolist in gas production. Today they say that we produce 600 cubic meters a day.”
Aksenov clarified that the gas produced by Chernomorneftegaz does not go to Ukraine, but remains in Crimea, in storage. “That’s why we don’t have any problems. We will drill four more wells, two this year, two next. And we will supply all the energy sector with our own gas. We will have generating capacities under construction. The main thing is that the enterprise has great potential. And there are a colossal number of such options,” the prime minister explained.
