This decision was made due to the possible threat of terrorist attacks, the press service of the Chernivtsi City Council reports.

“When making the decision to cancel the festival, we took into account the petition of the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service in the Chernivtsi region to limit the holding of mass events in the city.

This decision was made due to the fact that recently the risk of terrorist incidents during events aimed at supporting military personnel serving in the ATO zone has increased,” the statement says.

As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian security forces previously announced a high degree of terrorist threat in Odessa and Kharkov.
