In honor of St. Nicholas Day, Klimkin made dumplings for the ambassadors of Canada and the USA
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin made dumplings for St. Nicholas Day and treated them to Ukrainian politicians and the ambassadors of Great Britain, the USA and Slovenia.

“According to a long-standing Ukrainian tradition, in the circle of friends and family, we begin to celebrate Nicholas. Together with the ambassadors of Great Britain, the USA, and Slovenia in Ukraine today we tasted Ukrainian cuisine from Minister Pavel Klimkin. It was delicious,” Gerashchenko wrote.
She also noted that St. Nicholas Day was celebrated in the village of Letki.
“... You all know that according to a long-standing Ukrainian tradition, it is men who should make dumplings for Nicholas. We behaved well this year - and Nikolai brought us all delicious gifts. We made a Snowman and listened to songs from the children. The Ambassadors were introduced to the wonderful Ukrainian traditions. Thanks to the co-chairs of the MFO “Equal Opportunities” M. Ionova and O. Kondratyuk and Deputy Prime Minister I. Klympush for the wonderful idea of a joint holiday,” added Deputy Parubiya.
