“The following members of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people have been invited for questioning at 9:00: Nariman Jelal, First Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis, Dilyaver Akiev, Head of the Secretariat of the Mejlis, Ali Khamzin, Enver Kutiev, members of the Mejlis. Most likely, the list is not complete. Everyone is invited to the events that happened on February 26, 2014 in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, near the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea!” Smedlyaev wrote.
According to him, the night before he also received a summons for questioning at the Investigative Committee.
Let us recall that during the riots on February 26, 2014, after supporters of the Majlis and Ukrainian nationalists used military gas during a stampede near the Armed Forces of Crimea, Simferopol residents Igor Postny and Valentina Koreneva were killed.
