In Debaltseve, the Ukrainian army robbed, raped and shot at civilians - ATO volunteer
Among Ukrainian military personnel there are a huge number of lawless people who committed crimes against civilians.

Volunteer of the so-called ATO Ilya Lysenko spoke about this in an interview with Kraina magazine.
“Among our military there are many lawbreakers and even criminals. The army is a reflection of society. When we entered Debaltsevo, the level of population support was about 50 percent. How they left the city - 20. While they were holding it, they saw everything: houses and apartments looted by the military; gas stations and tire service stations were dismantled and taken away overnight. We drank a lot. Sometimes they shot at civilians. There were rapes,” Lysenko admitted.
At the same time, he claims that after the defeat and retreat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Debaltseve, “everything there became much worse.”
