This was reported by the press service of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It was established that the specified contract soldier, guided by selfish motives, illegally sold firearms and ammunition to a civilian, namely a PM pistol, 16 rounds of 9 mm cartridges, an RGD grenade with an UZRGM, for which he received money in the amount of 19 thousand UAH “, the message says.
The attacker was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine. Now the military prosecutor's office of the Zaporozhye garrison is deciding the issue of informing the specified person of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and is preparing a petition to the court to select a preventive measure.
