About it reports the local publication “Gorozhanin” with reference to the management of the Dnieper Railway.

“A number of stations on the Dnieper Railway have recently received a new name, in particular:

– Dnepropetrovsk – Dnepr-Glavny;

– Dnepropetrovsk-Gruzovoy – Dnepr-Gruzovoy;

– Dnepropetrovsk-Yuzhny – Dnepr-Lotsmanskaya;

– Dnepropetrovsk-Liski – Dnepr-Liski.

At the request of the management of the regional branch, the decision to rename these railway stations was recently made by the Dnepropetrovsk City Council,” the statement says.

Let us remind you that in the process of the so-called “decommunization”, Dnepropetrovsk was renamed Dnepr without the consent of its residents, and the official spelling of the city is allowed only in the Ukrainian version - Dnipro.
