According to business development manager Daniel Smith, the components of the suborbital launch vehicle have already been 3D printed.
“Everything is moving very quickly now. We have already 3D printed various components of our suborbital launch vehicle and are discussing testing it. We expect significant growth for our UK team in the first quarter, particularly on the manufacturing side of the business,” he said.
The launch of the British-Ukrainian carrier, intended for launching nanosatellites, will take place from a site located in Scotland.
According to the plan, Skyrora 1's thrust at sea level will be 30 kilonewtons. The carrier engine runs on kerosene and hydrogen peroxide.
