As the publication “Kstati+” reports, one of the pensioners lives near the airport, from where soldiers wounded during the ATO are taken to the hospital every day.
“I would like to help at least in some way, in any way! So pensioners got together and decided: to knit. We’ll knit warm clothes, winter is ahead, to warm our guys a little,” said Tamila Medvedovskaya.
Considering the volumes that pensioners produce - dozens of pairs of socks, gloves and hats - they do not believe that the ATO will end in the near future.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Kyiv they talked about ending the ATO by the summer, then by the fall, but since August no one has made any forecasts.
