In Dnepropetrovsk, ultras and police staged a massacre
In Dnepropetrovsk on May 9, before the final of the Ukrainian Cup, the Dynamo and Shakhtar ultras held a march “Against Passport Football,” during which clashes occurred with the police.
This was reported by local and football-related media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Football Hub, the Dynamo and Shakhtar ultras gathered in one column and moved towards the stadium with a banner “Against football on passports”, accompanying the procession with the roar of firecrackers and scanning slogans, when the police began to pull people out of the crowd.
In turn, the National Police of the Dnepropetrovsk region reports a fight between fans. Forced to intervene, law enforcement officers detained more than 20 people, after which clashes began.
Ukrainian journalist Roman Nedzelsky also posted videos of the fight on his Facebook page, collecting a lot of negative feedback against the football ultras.
In a video published by the local Informator channel, the ultras provoked the police in a far from peaceful manner, who also did not remain in debt.
As a result, several hundred football hooligans picketed the Dnieper police department, demanding the release of their comrades, after which, after carrying out identification procedures, law enforcement officers were forced to release the violators.
