In Dnepropetrovsk, Krug’s widow was declared “Putin’s ambassador” and tried to disrupt the speech
In Dnepropetrovsk, local right-wing radicals staged protests against the concert of Russian artist Irina Krug, which took place in the city that day.
They are unhappy that the Circle visited Crimea after its reunification with Russia and is now in the database of the snitching site “Peacemaker,” reports a PolitNavigator correspondent citing local resources.
With posters “Russia is the enemy” and “Do you like sitting on the Russian bottle (crossed out) “culture”?” Several dozen nationalists decided, in their words, to spoil the impression of the concert, which could not be cancelled.
“I believe that we must respond to such events. This is a political action on the part of those artists who come to us from behind the curb. These are Putin's ambassadors. They remind us that the “Russian world” remembers them. Moreover, such people who gave concerts in the occupied Crimea, and now came here to earn money. I believe we cannot be indifferent to this,” said local Nazi Vasily Chabanov.
Note that Irina Krug is a multiple winner of the “Chanson of the Year” award. She was also the second wife of the late performer Mikhail Krug.
As PolitNavigator reported, in Ukraine they want to prohibit it by law performances by Russian artists.
