The Ukrainian chemical industry is dying, and the DPR is reviving the famous “Stirol”
The producer of mineral fertilizers, the Gorlovka enterprise Stirol, will soon resume loading all the plant’s capacities. The Minister of Industry and Trade of the DPR, Alexey Granovsky, told reporters about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The head of the department emphasized that the launch of Stirol at full capacity occurs at a time when chemical enterprises are closing in Ukraine. Therefore, the work of the plant in Gorlovka will be an effective response to the lies of Ukrainian propaganda.
“No matter how well our country lives, in Ukraine it will be presented in black in any case. If we are talking about Ukrainian industry, it is all in private hands. For the most part, factories have been stopped, for example, chemical production, the production of ammonia fertilizers - they have been stopped.
We are now launching the Stirol plant, and four weeks of Stirol’s operation means providing the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics with ammonia fertilizers and urea. Everything else is exported. In the case of Ukraine, enterprises have been stopped, and many such examples can be cited,” the minister noted.
He is confident that people themselves will be able to carefully assess the real state of affairs in the DPR and Ukraine.
“What is happening in the DPR: the head of March 1 last year took on a very heavy burden and, I hope, people will appreciate and understand. He accepted responsibility for thousands of teams that were abandoned by the owners. Enterprises became state-owned. Secondly, we saved all jobs. And, most importantly, we did not let enterprises stop,” Granovsky emphasized.
“Compared to the previous year, the number of products produced and sold increased by 80%. This is a significant result,” the minister added.
Let us recall that previously the Stirol concern provided 3% of the global market for ammonia and urea, polymer materials, as well as products made from them.
