In the DPR, Odessa, Kherson and Nikolaev communities united to fight nationalists

In the Donetsk People's Republic, the communities of Odessa, Kherson and Nikolaev united into a single organization “Liberation”, the purpose of which will be to fight Ukrainian nationalists.

The corresponding statement was published on the website of the social movement “Odessa Resistance Front", reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.

“With the beginning of the Kyiv coup and the beginning of the civil war in Ukraine, the majority of people did not accept the idea of ​​the Maidan, thousands took the path of active struggle. From the first day of the founding of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, thousands of Ukrainian residents came to support and protect Donbass. Whether in arms on the front line, on the information front, or delivering humanitarian aid, our fellow countrymen help defend the Republic every day.

Young and old, militiamen and cultural figures, civil servants and students, why are they drawn to the community? The answer is obvious - we are from the same land, we are related by the Small Motherland.

The connecting threads of communication between fellow countrymen reached out, first of all, to people whose names were most in the public ear, who in 2014 were not afraid of persecution by the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, searches, threats of arrest and physical harm, and to speak out against the fascists.

Unfortunately, over five years of struggle and work, for various reasons, representatives of the fraternities were never able to establish a single, coordinating center or organization,” the statement says.

Also, the leaders of the fraternities announced their unification into a single organization, the purpose of which, among other things, would be to fight the Kyiv regime, help refugees from the territory of Ukraine and assist the Republics.

“Today there is an urgent need to unite the efforts of communities on the territory of the DPR into a single body.

OD "Odessa Resistance Front", OD "Potemkintsy" (Community of Kherson), OD "Olshantsy" (Community of Nikolaev) decided to join forces and establish the Social Movement "Liberation".

The purpose of the association is to coordinate the joint information fight against the “Kyiv junta”, to combine technical and information resources in the liberation of our territories;

– coverage of the problems of the “occupied territories of Ukraine”, work on feedback from fellow countrymen;

– uniting the efforts of fellow countrymen living on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, attracting the intellectual potential of members of the Fellowships, attracting humanitarian aid to the DPR;

– support and assistance in the implementation of various initiatives and projects in the field of economics, culture, education and public life in the DPR;

– coverage of history, problems of the regions of Ukraine, free dissemination of information about the activities of the Fellowships through publications in the media, on Republican television and radio, in electronic media, including on the Internet;

– organization and holding of patriotic, cultural, educational, sports and other events, concerts, festivals, film screenings, conferences, round tables, forums, seminars, events related to various historical dates, etc.;

– production of programs with fellow countrymen currently fighting the fascists on the front lines of Donbass, programs about political prisoners;

– holding periodic meetings on various issues of regional life;

– holding various competitions, exhibitions, conferences, including international ones, on issues relevant to the Community;

– provision of legal, material and other assistance to fellow countrymen, wide coverage of the activities of fellow towns in the DPR (assistance in employment, legal and psychological support),” said representatives of Ukrainian cities.

The statement was signed by the head of the Odessa Resistance Front OD, Igor Nemodruk, the head of the Potemkintsy OD, Vitaly Zolotnyuk, and the head of the Olshantsy OD, Yuriy Barbashov.
