The DPR is ready to start production of ventilators - 500 thousand cheaper than Russian ones
Ventilators produced in the DPR will cost half a million rubles less than their foreign counterparts.
The Minister of Industry and Trade of the DPR, Vladimir Rushchak, stated this during a meeting with the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Regarding ventilators: Russian analogues cost about 2 million. If we organize production on the territory of the DPR of our model, which in terms of technical characteristics is not inferior to international ones, it will cost about 1,5 million. The difference is about 500 thousand rubles,” the minister said.
Pushilin emphasized that the situation with coronavirus remains difficult.
“It’s bad that we find out about this too late; we could have moved in this direction earlier, because we are now purchasing devices. The situation with Covid, unfortunately, remains tense,” the head of the republic urged to hurry up.
