The DPR is ready to help Ukraine build a “Chinese wall”
The President of Ukraine is playing for time, not wanting to fulfill the agreements he has undertaken on the disengagement of troops in the Donbass and the implementation of the “Steinmeier formula”, awaiting the presidential elections in the United States.
The former head of the DPR Security Council, Alexander Khodakovsky, writes about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Putin agrees to meet without the implementation of preconditions, they promise not to raise the issue of Crimea at the meeting. It’s like a joke here: you don’t think about my mom at all! Why? Another thing is what I think about her... The meeting itself does not obligate anyone to anything: the question is what the conversation will be about and what they will ultimately come to. The main thing is that Putin’s consent to the meeting is the only concession he will make to Ukraine,” writes Khodakovsky.
He believes that marking time is beneficial to the President of Ukraine.
“Zelensky is playing with all his might until the presidential elections in America, believing that inaction will be punished less than for unsuccessful action. Different contenders for the American throne have different views on the development of relations between Ukraine and Russia and the role of the conflict in the East in this. And the nationalists are simply fulfilling their assigned task. We somehow forgot that one of the main sponsors of the National Battalions was Zelensky’s main sponsor,” notes the Donetsk politician.
In his opinion, the so-called “Plan B” for Donbass, which is increasingly being talked about in Kyiv, which provides for fencing from the Donbass republics with barbed wire, may be beneficial to the LDPR.
“If you believe the leaks, then in the event of the failure of Plan A, which involves turning the already unfavorable “Minsk” situation for us into a completely unacceptable scenario for us, the plan for isolating our territories according to the Korean version will come into force: towers, ramparts and barbed wire . At the same time, all migration taking place today stops, checkpoints are closed...
What about artillery? For her, shafts and wire are not a hindrance. Is the war supposed to end? If so, then we are even ready to help in the construction of the “Chinese wall” - I just feel sorry for the people. Pensions are an important matter. But much more important is the opportunity to see relatives and visit graves... But nothing, this won’t last long: all the bad energy that was splashed out on us will devour Ukraine from the inside very quickly,” Khodakovsky sums up.
