This was stated by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko at a meeting with the heads of local authorities, during which issues related to budget policy were discussed, in particular the problem of filling district budgets.
“What worries me, and what I want to say: it is necessary to register business entities with the tax authorities at their locations, directly in the districts themselves, because many are registered either in Volnovakha, or in Mariupol or other uncontrolled places. They need to be required to register at the legislative level.
Yesterday we discussed the situation when entrepreneurs from the Central City district of Gorlovka register in Panteleimonovka, that is, in this way, tax evasion schemes are being prepared. In this regard, we will have to make unpopular decisions, because if such manifestations are not dealt with, entire districts and cities will suffer, and so we will not build anything,” Zakharchenko emphasized.
