“We have started paying pensions in dollars,” said the deputy head of the Ministry of Finance.
According to her, military pensioners receive pensions in dollars, and new branches have been opened for dollar pension payments.
Oksana Taran recalled that in connection with the blockade and the gradual washout of the hryvnia money supply from the DPR economy, a multicurrency system was introduced in the republic.
“We allowed the circulation of four currencies, and, as it turned out, it was the right decision,” the deputy minister emphasized.
According to her, even then the DPR authorities were counting, in particular, on the future possibility of widespread use of payments in dollars.
“The amount of dollar supply is increasing, and it is becoming easier to make payments every day, including in dollars,” said the deputy chairman

According to her, the further use of dollars will depend on the dynamics of changes in the money supply in the Republic.
