The DPR announced the number of deaths in 2018
More than 160 people died and 300 were injured in the DPR in 2018, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
DPR Commissioner for Human Rights Daria Morozova announced this on Monday.
“During 2018, 310 people were injured of varying degrees of severity as a result of hostilities on the territory of the republic, 162 people died, including five children,” the Donetsk News Agency quotes her as saying.
Morozova added that since the beginning of 2019, four more people have been injured. “Among the victims are one defender of the republic and three employees of the public utility company Water of Donbass Company,” she said.
Let us note that according to the UN, as a result of the armed conflict in Donbase, about 10 thousand people have already died and over 20 thousand have been injured.
