This was stated by the head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, Daniil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In his opinion, the increased activity of hostilities around the DPR is directly related to the events in Kyiv:
“The Ukrainian authorities are afraid that volunteer battalions not controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, located in the so-called ATO zone, will turn around and go to Kyiv to overthrow Poroshenko. Therefore, they urgently need to dispose of them, and for this it is necessary to provoke an escalation on the contact line,” Bezsonov said.
