The DPR did not rule out new provocations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the occupation of the “gray zone”
Analyzing the actions of some units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the DPR command does not exclude that the Ukrainian army may use the “Christmas truce” for armed provocations and occupation of the “gray zone.”
This information was announced today during a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that DPR intelligence received information about the arrival of the 93rd mechanized brigade of the 24th Channel film crew in the area of responsibility.
“It is no coincidence that the command of the occupation forces sent journalists to prepare propaganda materials in the area adjacent to Avdeevka. Analyzing all this data, we can conclude that the Ukrainian occupation command is planning to conduct combat attacks by sabotage and reconnaissance groups in this area,” suggested Daniil Bezsonov.
He also added that against the backdrop of statements by Poroshenko’s advisor Biryukov about occupying most of the “gray zone,” it cannot be ruled out that the commander of the occupation forces, Naev, using the “Christmas” truce, intends to move his fighters forward in this area and reduce the interposition space.
