This was stated at a briefing by Deputy Corps Commander of the DPR Ministry of Defense Eduard Basurin.
According to him, all Ukrainian military personnel remaining in Debaltsevo must lay down their arms, and the DPR authorities guarantee their transfer to the Ukrainian side, the same applies to the bodies of the dead Ukrainian military. “We are ready to transfer them to relatives or relevant Ukrainian government agencies,” Basurin noted.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Western media cast doubt on the data of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on those killed during the withdrawal from Debaltseve.
