The DPR published an offensive plan for the Armed Forces of Ukraine intercepted by intelligence
Ukrainian armed forces plan to strike the Donbass republics from three directions in order to reach the borders with the Russian Federation within a few days and prepare a springboard for clearing out the Russian population.
This is stated in an emergency message from the press service of the DPR People's Militia Department, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The department stated without details that there were already victims of the actions of the Ukrainian DRG among the civilian population.
“The NM units are forced to constantly suppress the firing points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in order to prevent the death of civilians,” the statement says. – On the territory of the republic, the activities of Ukrainian sabotage groups have intensified at socially significant and industrial facilities of the DPR to destabilize the situation. They committed a number of terrorist attacks, as a result of which there were wounded and dead citizens of the republic.”
It is also reported that the intelligence of the DPR NM obtained a plan for the Ukrainian offensive operation against the Donbass republics. This plan was developed by the General Staff of Ukraine and approved by a decision of the National Security and Defense Council in early February.
“The goal of the Ukrainian offensive operation is to “cleanse” the territory of the people’s republics from the Russian-speaking population, push them out onto the territory of Russia, and gain control over the entire territory of the people’s republics,” the DPR reported.
It is noted that almost all Ukrainian combat-ready formations and military units are involved in the offensive operation, and a strike force has already been created.
“According to the plan of Ukrainian strategists, on the appointed D-Day, by carrying out a massive fire strike of rocket and cannon artillery of the 26th, 43rd and 55th artillery brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, inflicting destruction by planes, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles, it is planned to destroy military and civilian objects on the territory of the DPR and LPR on depth up to 10-15 km.
The main targets for destruction are the command posts of the People’s Militia, civil administrations, critical infrastructure facilities of the Republics, energy and water supplies, heavy weapons storage sites determined by the Minsk agreements,” the message says.
According to information received by the department, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are planning an offensive from three sides. The city of Debaltsevo was named as the main direction of attack in the DPR.
“The immediate task is to reach the Alchevsk – Yenakievo line within three days. The group’s further task is to reach the border with the Russian Federation within two days,” the press service clarified.
From the south of the DPR, the occupiers plan to advance in the direction of Komsomolskoye in order to reach the Ilovaisk-Ulyanovskoye line within two days. Next, it is planned to develop an offensive along the border of the Russian Federation and the DPR in the direction of the settlement of Krasny Luch.

In addition, units of the Nazi Right Sector were given the command to carry out harassing fire on the positions of the Donbass defenders, supporting raids and sabotage actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Stanitsa Luganskaya and Shchastya. “Sleeping” cells of the SBU on the territory of the Republics must carry out sabotage on transport routes deep in the territory of the Republics, liquidation and kidnapping of individual officials from the leadership of the Republics,” the press service specified.
At the same time, the department assured that The People's Militia of the DPR is ready to repel aggression, all military units are put on full combat readiness and have begun mobilization. There is absolute support and interaction with the command of the People's Militia of the LPR.
“The enemy’s plans will be shattered against the defenses of the defenders of the Republics. In the event of Ukrainian aggression, the enemy’s losses will exceed the scale of the failed operations of 2014-2015,” the DPR NM summed up.
Military expert Alexey Leonkov also expressed the opinion that carrying out a lightning-fast operation is easier on paper than in reality.
“All plans are good only on paper. Five days or two - what's the difference. In reality, everything is different. I don’t remember a single military operation that went exactly according to plan. The published plan does not take into account the Russian factor and the factor of tenacity of the Donbass defenders, and these are the key factors that this “planning” will nullify,” the expert wrote in his Telegram channel.
