In the DPR, layoffs have been canceled for employees of all law enforcement agencies due to the threat of an offensive by the Ukrainian army, the Vedomosti newspaper reports, citing a source close to the leadership of the proclaimed republic.
“Dismissals and vacations for all security officials have been canceled in the republic,” the publication says.

Earlier, the leader of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, announced the readiness of the republic’s army to repel Ukrainian troops and launch a counter-offensive on Kyiv.
