The DPR plans to produce a combat drone
Being a warring state, the DPR is forced to organize the production of its own weapons. So, in addition to other military developments, the republic plans to launch mass production of combat drones.

The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, spoke about this in an interview with the creator of the “WarGonzo” project, Semyon Pegov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It’s hard to believe that weapons development and mass production are beginning in a warring state. Perhaps using old technologies, but it was done here, by our engineers and designers. And most importantly, on our materials and our production facilities,” said the head of the DPR.
According to Zakharchenko, all weapons are produced and developed due to the urgent need for their own support for the combat units of the Republic.
“I’ll tell you a little secret: we are currently developing our own drone. Believe me, the cost of our weapons is an order of magnitude lower than in any country in the world,” added Alexander Zakharchenko.
