In the DPR, almost 2000 drivers received “republican” license plates
The DPR State Traffic Inspectorate issued 1790 new license plates to car owners during the month and a half of work of the interdistrict registration and examination departments (MREO), reports Donetsk News Agency.

“From the moment of the opening of the MREO until the end of the first ten days of July, 1790 vehicles were registered with the issuance of license plates of the Donetsk People’s Republic model,” the message notes.
The department recalled that initial registration of a vehicle is mandatory, as well as registration of vehicles with lost documents or license plates and upon expiration of temporary registration coupons.
New car state license plates in the republic are issued from May 26.
