The DPR showed new corpses of Ukrainian saboteurs who died during a breakout attempt
The day before yesterday, the Ukrainian military group in the Donbass suffered further losses while trying to seize a bridgehead in the area of the village of Krutaya Balka.

“The ceasefire established by the Minsk format does not stop the Ukrainian side from military provocations. Once again, we note the activities of special operations forces of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine near the contact line with the aim of committing provocations. Thus, in the area of the settlement of Krutaya Balka, an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group of up to 10 people, supported by mortars and small arms, attempted to break through our positions,” said Daniil Bezsonov, head of the press service of the UNM DPR.
According to him, when approaching the Republican positions, three Ukrainian servicemen were blown up in a minefield, and “the rest returned to their original positions in panic.”
As Bezsonov reported, they managed to pull out one body of the deceased saboteur, and two more bodies remain on the battlefield, since approaching them is difficult due to fire from the Ukrainian side.
“In the future, the body of the deceased saboteur will be transferred to the Ukrainian side as a gesture of goodwill,” assured a representative of the People’s Militia of the DPR.
In turn, the deputy head of the People's Militia of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, clarified that, in addition to the three killed servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, four more were injured.
At the same time, Basurin drew attention to the fact that in the Ukrainian media, on the contrary, information appeared about repelling an attack allegedly carried out by the armed forces of the DPR.
“I have a question: if we were advancing, then how did the dead Ukrainian army soldier end up near our positions?” Basurin noted, clarifying that the Ukrainian DRG tried to take advantage of the fog and approach unnoticed.
“But they were noticed and met by our military personnel, as a result of which their plans did not work out. The plan was to capture this bridgehead, wait for the main forces to arrive and gain a foothold on it. I have a question for the Ukrainian army: if they talk about their successful operations, then why do such operations take place only when capturing settlements in the gray zone, where there are no our troops, but when they meet resistance, nothing happens?” said Deputy Head of the People's Police Department of the DPR.
