The DPR provided evidence of the sale of weapons by the Ukrainian military to Donbass militias
The operational command of the DPR presented journalists with weapons stolen by Ukrainian military personnel from their units and sold to the militia.
These are two Kalashnikov light machine guns, the serial numbers of which coincided with the numbers of the machine guns appearing in the report of the head of the SBU for the Donetsk region addressed to the President of Ukraine about the facts of theft in the Joint Forces Operation zone. The report was at the disposal of the DPR operational command.
“We have presented to your attention a part of the document, according to which the inspection revealed a shortage of weapons and materiel in one of the military units. In front of you are two Kalashnikov light machine guns from this list. We also have all the other weapons and materiel, but we did not consider it advisable to bring the entire arsenal here,” explained the deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR NM Eduard Basurin, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
