Yesterday, at the contact group negotiations in Minsk, a “training truce” in Donbass was announced. The position of the Donetsk People's Republic on this issue remains unchanged - its troops will observe the truce, but if the Ukrainian side continues shelling, then a response will follow.

The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“If we take the history of these truces, we must remember that from the very first truce, and it is not over yet, we remember very well when our children went to school (when school was delayed for a month), a lot of teachers died that day, there were shelling of Donetsk and specifically schools... If the truce is violated, we will be responsible. Our position here does not change,” said the head of the DPR.
