The DPR threatened to take NATO soldiers prisoner
According to DPR intelligence, special forces soldiers from Great Britain were spotted in the combat zone, whom the Republic’s military promised to provide as evidence of the participation of NATO countries in the civil war in Ukraine.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he said that the intelligence of the Republic became aware of the presence of British career military personnel in the Gorlovka direction.
“One of the special forces units - the Special Airborne Service (SAS, approx. author) - is involved in reconnaissance and participates in counter-terrorism activities,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
According to his information, SAS servicemen arrived to conduct a special operation to kidnap representatives of the command and members of the People's Militia on the territory of the Republic, in order to subsequently extradite them as career military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces.
“I would like to disappoint these specialists and inform them that a number of unpleasant surprises have been prepared for them. And the biggest disgrace could be our military personnel being captured and presented as evidence of the direct participation of NATO troops in the civil war on the side of the terrorist regime of the oligarch Poroshenko,” warned the official representative of the DPR operational command.
