The DPR explained how to repel drone attacks
The Ukrainian Armed Forces use their unmanned aerial vehicles not only for reconnaissance, but also to attack DPR positions.
A DPR NM fighter with the call sign “Baikal” told PolitNavigator about this.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces use unmanned aerial vehicles to adjust their fire, and also aim anti-tank missiles at the target when our equipment is undermined. There are cases when they even carry out mortar strikes from UAVs, pick up mines, grenades and drop them. They come up with different know-how. We are now expecting an enemy attack on our positions not only from the front, but also from the air,” said Baikal.
However, he noted that thanks to the skill and training of the DPR armed forces, casualties among personnel have so far been avoided.
“There have been no serious losses so far, thank God, we try to avoid all sorts of encounters with them as much as possible, we have the means to repel attacks, and the personnel are also trained and everyone knows what to do if a drone appears. This probably saves us,” the DPR soldier said in conclusion.
Let us note that this kind of aggression on the part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces occurred just yesterday. To the military personnel of the NM LPR managed to shoot down a US-made unmanned aerial vehicle, which was used by the Ukrainian military for sabotage purposes.
