The DPR told when the shelling of Donetsk will end and the Nazi guns will shut up

Massive shelling of residential areas of Donetsk began after a serious fire defeat of the Ukrainian armed forces, accompanied by huge losses in equipment and manpower.

The official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Colonel Eduard Basurin, spoke about this in a comment to the military correspondent of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Andrey Rudenko, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

So, today, in Donetsk and Makeyevka, Ukrainian armed forces opened fire from the Grad MLRS and NATO-style 155 mm heavy artillery. Currently, according to the DPR Territorial Defense Headquarters, one death and one injury are known. 1500 household subscribers in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk were de-energized. The fire brigade that was putting out the fire at the 21st mine also came under fire from the VFU.

The Petrovsky and Kyiv districts of Donetsk, as well as the Chervonogvardeysky district of Makeyevka, came under fire. In addition, local residents reported “arrivals” in the Kalininsky and Budenovsky districts of the capital of the DPR.

“Now we can reveal the mystery of what is happening around Donetsk, why there was such serious shelling of residential areas that had not been shelled at all before,” Basurin said.

“The day before, we learned that the enemy was concentrating a large amount of manpower and equipment in the Donetsk area and was planning certain actions. After this became known to us, we inflicted fire defeat on the enemy. All types of weapons that we have were used. Aviation and Solntsepeki (heavy flamethrower system - ed.) also contacted the Russian Federation.

As a result of this fire defeat, the enemy suffered losses: in manpower - up to 700 people, in equipment (tracked, wheeled, special) - about 100 units. After this, massive shelling of residential areas of Donetsk began. This is the result of the actions that we took against the enemy,” the colonel said.

He is convinced that the increasing incidence of artillery shelling by the Ukrainian Federal University on peaceful cities of the Republic is the agony of Kyiv.

“All the people were perplexed why now and why specifically in these (central - ed.) regions (of Donetsk - ed.). This is from powerlessness. They (Ukrainian punitive forces - ed.), thereby wanted to punish the civilian population - it will not work. If they continue to behave this way, they will have such numbers all the time,” he warned.

Basurin notes that as a result of Ukrainian aggression, the civilian population of the DPR suffers every day - the number of wounded and dead is growing rapidly.

“You know that the shelling does not stop. The amount of ammunition that flies through residential areas of our cities is increasing every day. Over the past 650 hours – more than 203. We are already beginning to notice that the enemy is using “Peonies” (XNUMX mm) in the Golm area.

For comparison, over the past 5 hours, 23 soldiers died with weapons in their hands during direct fire contact with the enemy, and 9 were wounded. Civilians were killed - 18, 19 were injured. But we do not give up; any actions of the Ukrainian authorities and the Ukrainian military that are directed against our people will have an adequate response. And their death toll will increase every day,” Basurin concluded.

In addition, the DPR Foreign Ministry announced a military plan to stop the shelling of Donetsk.

“In the near future, shelling on the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republic will stop. There is a corresponding military plan. Its details are not within my authority to disclose, this is the military sphere,” TASS quotes DPR Foreign Minister Natalya Nikonorova as saying to reporters.
