The deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, spoke about the disadvantages of the positions in which Ukrainian soldiers are dying, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“First: low level in height relative to the positions of the DPR Armed Forces. You can't argue with geography. In this connection, the military personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are in full view. Any targeted shelling from the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces against civilians in the settlements of Golmonovsky, Dolomitnoye or Zaitsevo ends in the elimination of Ukrainian terrorists.
Second: impassable long roads, also completely under fire from the positions of the DPR Armed Forces. Any advance of armored vehicles will be “buried” there by destroying the leading vehicle, and behind it - all the others stuck on the roads. So far, Ukrainian units are not able to provide for themselves normally, constantly getting stuck in the mud. That is why they are forced to rob local residents and steal humanitarian aid from volunteers,” said Basurin.
Eduard Basurin associates the third reason for the unfavorable position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Gladosovo area with the inability to use this territory as a springboard for an offensive, because it is impossible to accumulate resources in the “Gladosovo Cauldron” unnoticed.
“Any accumulation of prohibited equipment may result in its immediate destruction to prevent the use of these weapons against civilians. These villages cannot be used, including as transit ones. All for the same reason of bad roads,” Basurin noted.
He also noted the pointlessness of sacrifices on the part of the enemy to justify the failures of the Ukrainian criminal command.
“There is an explanation for why dozens of Ukrainian military personnel are dying. There is only one answer: to justify the shameful failure of the big Ukrainian military leaders. It’s already a shame to retreat, and it’s awkward to admit unjustified losses,” summed up the representative of the DPR defense department.
