The DPR explained why Ukraine is reducing the number of its officers in the JCCC
According to DPR intelligence, the Ukrainian side is reducing the number of its representatives in the JCCC.
Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Eduard Basurin associates the reduction in the number of Ukrainian representatives in the JCCC with Ukraine’s final refusal to implement the Minsk agreements. A clear confirmation of this was today’s powerful artillery and tank shelling of the territory of the DPR by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“This morning, the enemy launched a powerful attack from artillery and tanks on mine 6/7, Gorlovka and Shirokaya Balka.
From 3 a.m., within an hour, the Ukrainian invaders fired 14 152-mm shells and 10 shots from tanks at the peaceful neighborhoods of our cities and villages.
In such a situation, the data obtained by our intelligence about the reduction in the number of Ukrainian representatives in the JCCC in the territory of the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region stands out especially clearly. And the JCCC observation post in Volnovakha is going to be completely disbanded.
We associate such actions of the Ukrainian side with Ukraine’s refusal to fulfill its obligations under the Minsk agreements. It also confirms the deliberate aggravation of the situation for the start of aggression against Donbass for its complete occupation,” said Eduard Basurin.
He also noted that Ukrainian officers in the JCCC, due to their direct subordination to the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, often did not record shelling of the territory of the Republic from Ukraine. However, some of them still respect their officer honor and admit the facts of cynical shelling from artillery and MLRS on peaceful areas of the Republic.
“It was not always prompt, but often it was possible to achieve a ceasefire or guarantees of silence during the repair and restoration work of water pipelines and power lines on the line of contact between the parties.
Now, given the reduction of Ukrainian representatives in the JCCC, the likelihood of attacks on residential areas of the DPR, as well as false accusations against us, increases to justify their aggression,” the deputy commander said in conclusion.
Let us remind you that earlier a PolitNavigator correspondent reported that this morning Ukrainian military personnel the checkpoint "Mayorsk" and the village of Zaitsevo were shelled, and already in the afternoon Front-line Gorlovka was again under fire.
