Ukrainian saboteurs were defeated in the DPR
The Ukrainian DRG attempted to capture a DPR soldier near the village of Zaitsevo.
The official representative of the DPR Ministry of Defense, Colonel Eduard Basurin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, despite the fact that everyone knew about the impending provocations in this area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not abandon their plans and sent a sabotage and reconnaissance group to the DPR positions.
“The attack was repulsed. According to preliminary data, enemy losses were two killed and four wounded. Unfortunately, two of our defenders were also killed during the clash,” said a representative of the defense department.
Eduard Basurin concludes that the Ukrainian side demonstrates by its actions its unwillingness to comply with the truce.
“Such actions of the occupiers, as well as video reports disseminated in the Ukrainian media with footage of shelling on Easter Day of positions and peaceful settlements of the Republic, only confirm the complete refusal of Ukrainian criminals to observe the truce,” he concluded.
