All deputies of both factions participating in the meeting (Free Donbass and Donetsk Republic) supported this decision: 81 deputies voted in favor.
“How does our budget system differ from what it was before? We do not have value added tax. This corruption tax no longer exists in our country,” said one of the developers, a member of the Committee on Budget, Finance and Economic Policy (Donetsk Republic faction) Boris Litvinov.
According to him, in the near future, a bill “On the tax system” of the republic, which provides for the introduction of a sales tax, will be submitted to the session of the DPR parliament. “It will simplify the taxation procedure and make it transparent. This way we will be able to track profits,” the parliamentarian is confident.
He also specifically added that in the interests of state security during the war, the formation of the budget process will not be made public. The situation returns to normal immediately after the end of the conflict.
