“Yes, I was wounded in the industrial zone of Avdeevka, when our positions were recaptured,” the commander said. “The guys from the 11th regiment fought heroically, but, unfortunately, retreated. We came to the rescue and, together with the 11th regiment and Sparta, carried out an operation and returned our positions back. I can honestly say: 99 percent were returned. It was simply impractical to attack one percent further.”
At the same time, he emphasized that, having returned what was lost, the fighters stopped on the line provided for by the Minsk agreements.
The officer also said that in three days of fighting he lost four soldiers, and several people were seriously injured.
“I was also wounded, but the next morning I was on the front line and continued to command my battalion. I had to take a break from the fighting for 10 hours, which at that time was commanded by my deputy and the Minister of Defense together with the commander of the 11th regiment. As always, we were supported by the “Sparta” battalion and its commander “Vokha,” noted “Givi”.
He also said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost a lot of people.
“They are not capable of fighting and cannot fight with us. They can fight, unfortunately, only with civilians,” said the “Somalia” commander.
In addition, he called on civilians to immediately report to the commandant’s office if they saw suspicious people throwing any objects on the street, since these could be radio beacons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ artillery.
“Once again, the Ukrainian army showed its true colors. Once again Poroshenko showed his pig's snout for what it really is. He washed himself with our Donetsk blood and there is nowhere else to go. Where is Europe looking? They blame us for everything, but when they themselves come under fire, they remain silent,” Tolstykh added.
